Area Office Check-Out Dates & Times

Monday, May 4  Call the RA on duty in your residential area between 8:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.** 

*If you need to check out after hours, call the RA on duty.

**The duty number is posted on digital signage or at the front desk of your hall.

 

Move-Out Checklist (All Residents)

  • Pack and box your belongings before bringing your car to your housing loading area. 
  • You have 30 minutes to load your vehicle while parking in the loading area. 
  • Remove all personal items and trash. Charges may apply for left items, excess trash, or damages. 
  • Return your key(s) and complete check-out during posted times. Not returning a key may result in a lock-change fee. See check-out fees section below. 
  • Keys/items not returned at check-out are considered lost and cannot be turned in later (including by mail). See chart below for applicable charges by area.

Specific Move-out Information for Neighborhoods:

The Village

  • Vehicles are not allowed on the concourse.  
  • Use loading zones, the West Village lot (PC4), and the commuter lot along Wire Road for move-out (except during Commencement). 
  • Commencement ceremonies will be held in Neville Arena at the times below. Expect increased traffic and limited parking near The Village and other nearby areas during these times. 
  • Friday, May 1: 6:00 p.m. CT 
  • Saturday, May 2: 8:00 a.m. CT; 1:00 p.m. CT; 6:00 p.m. CT 
  • Sunday, May 3: 1:00 p.m. CT; 6:00 p.m. CT 
  • Monday, May 4: 1:00 p.m. CT; 6:00 p.m. CT 

 

  • Security will be present Monday–Sunday, 6:30 a.m.–8:00 p.m., to monitor traffic and barricades. 

The Quad

  • Upper Quad: Broun residents must pick up a loading pass from the Quad Area Office (Broun Hall) to access Quad Drive 
  • Upper Quad: Harper, Little, and Teague load on Thach Concourse 
  • Lower Quad: Dowdell, Lane, Glenn, Owen, Keller, and Lupton load on Roosevelt Concourse 
  • Security will be present Monday–Sunday, 8:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m., to monitor traffic on Quad Drive and the concourses. It is highly encouraged to check out during posted security hours if possible. 

South Donahue

Security will be present Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m., to monitor the area between South Donahue Residence Hall and the Leach Science Center (near the dumpsters). 

191 College / 160 Ross / Union

Keep dumpster areas clear (vehicles may be towed). Place large items in the large dumpsters (not the trash chute) and do not leave trash in halls.
