Area Office Check-Out Times:

  • Monday, April 29 – Friday, May 3 from 8:00am – 11:00pm CT
  • Saturday, May 4 from 8:00am – 8:00pm CT
  • Sunday, May 5 from noon – 4:00pm CT
  • Monday, May 6 Call the RA on Duty in your residential area from 8:00am – 1:00pm CT

Commencement Ceremonies:

Commencement Ceremonies will take place on Friday, May 3, starting at 5 p.m. CT, Saturday, May 4, starting at 8 a.m. CT, 1:00 p.m. CT & 6:00 p.m. CT, Sunday, May 5 starting at 1:00 p.m. CT & 6:00 p.m. CT, and Monday, May 6 starting at 1:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. in the Auburn Arena. These ceremonies could impact parking and check out around the Village and potentially other areas.

Important Reminders

  • Students should have all belongings packed and boxed up before you bring your car to the housing community to move out. In consideration of your fellow residents, you will have 30 minutes to pack your car while parked in the housing community.
  • Failure to check out during the designated timeframe will result in a $50 improper check out fee, with the exception of Monday, May 6 from 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. If a resident must check out after hours, they will have to call the on-duty phone number for a staff member to check them out. The on-duty phone number is located on the digital signage in the lobby of your building.
  • Residents who fail to turn in a key will be assessed a $100 lock change fee. Failure to check out properly or turn in a key will result in a total $150 assessed to your student account.
  • Any key that is not returned to your RA will be considered lost and cannot be returned via mail, etc. following check outs. Even if you have lost your key, you must check out with a staff member.

  • Residents will not be allowed to drive on the concourse in The Village housing community. Residents in The Village can utilize the loading zones, West Village parking lot, and the commuter lot along Wire Road for move out.
  • Security will be present Monday-Sunday from 8:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m.to monitor traffic and the barricades in the neighborhood.
  • Residents should have all belongings packed and boxed up before you bring your car to the housing community to move out. Loading zones are for loading/move-out purposes only; not packing. In consideration of your fellow residents, you will have 30 minutes to pack your car while parked in a loading zone.

Due to the Auburn vs. Ole Miss Baseball Games, residents should load their vehicles in the loading zone area along Samford Avenue. The South Donahue loading zone will be closed.

Important Reminders

  • Residents should return their mail key, parking pass (hang tag), apartment fob, and amenity pass to the front office with a staff member during desk hours. You will be charged for each item not returned. See breakdown of prices below:
    • Hang Tag – $35
    • Key Fob – $35
    • Mail Key – $35
  • Any item that is not returned will be considered LOST and cannot be returned (mailed, etc.) following check-outs.
  • You will need to check out with a staff member during the desk hours below; anything outside these desk hours not communicated with housing will result in an improper checkout fee of $50
  • Your room should be completely vacated when you check out. You will not be able to return to your room once you have checked out with a staff member.
  • You are responsible for removing all personal items and all trash from your space. Residents are subject to possible charges if any items or trash is left in the space or if the space has been damaged in any way.
  • Please refrain from parking next to the dumpsters so the trash truck can pick-up and to avoid being towed. Please place all large trash items in the big dumpsters instead of the trash chute. Please DO NOT leave trash in the halls.
