Kendra Waddy was raised in Metro Atlanta but was born in South Carolina. Kendra is in her second year of the Marriage and Family Therapy program and her second year with University Housing. Kendra earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of West Georgia in Psychology with a minor in Business Administration. Last year, she oversaw the Hill for the first semester, and the Hill and South Donahue for the second semester. This year, Kendra is overseeing South Donahue. One of Kendra’s favorite quotes is, “It always seems impossible, until it’s done” (Nelson Mandela). Kendra’s hobbies include exercising and promoting self-care. She also is on the journey of becoming fluent in Spanish and sign language. Kendra has a Toy Australian Shepherd, Kodah, whom she loves. For anyone thinking about graduate school, Kendra recommends to not be afraid to ask questions and to come prepared to give 110%, as it is a one-of-a-kind experience where you learn as you go.
